Randolph Squirt Youth Hockey Wins 2018 St. Patty’s Tournament Title

NEWARK, DE – For the 2nd year in a row, the Randolph squirt hockey team won the St. Patty’s Smackdown Tournament in Newark, DE during St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Just like last year, the team went undefeated in all four of its games.

The Randolph youth hockey program has been traveling to “The Pond” in Delaware for this season ending tournament the past seven years, typically bringing teams from four levels ( Mite, Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantam ) which span ages ranging from as young as 5 and 6, up to 14 and 15.

Both New York City and Newark made the list of finalists for Amazon’s new headquarters, along with 18 other cities, from Toronto to Miami to Los Angeles.
